 About Us:

In 2007, Shauntel Swanson Dressage moved to Redmond Washington, providing a full suite of services including lessons, coaching, training and sales.  An avid proponent of careful development of both horse and rider, Shauntel tailors the training pyramid to both horse and rider, ensuring each pair builds a true partnership that allows goals to be met and exceeded.  Having trained and shown horses thru Grand Prix, Shauntel brings to her clients years of knowledge, a collaborative approach and a deep desire to teach the skill of dressage to others.

Shauntel developed her passion for horses at a very young age, spending time at her grandparent’s farm riding horses of all breeds and disciplines.  Her grandmother instilled in Shauntel the desire to work hard toward her goals while learning compassion, responsibility and graceful sportsmanship.

The early years were spent in the fast paced Eventing world, but as Shauntel began her teen years she found herself focusing on Dressage.  Her high school years found her teaching dressage as well as training and selling young horses, and were followed by several years of refining her Dressage skill via work with several major breeders in the Northwest US. 

As an active Dressage competitor and coach, Shauntel has earned many regional and national level awards, and looks forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you in reaching your own dressage goals!
